New facilities at the University of Minnesota give scientists flexible, state-of-the-art space to fight todays health challenges including diabetes, cancer, heart disease, emerging infectious diseases, and brain diseases. The Biomedical Discovery District will house some of the world's best research in places like the Stem Cell Institute, the Center for Infectious Diseases & Microbiology Translational Research, the Institute for Translational Neuroscience and the Center for Immunology.
