Okay, this guy doesn't know Greek. If you were to translate "for me" to Greek you would use the word "me" in the dative case, μοι, which is the "on my behalf" form of the word in English. The word in Acts 2:38 is εις which for the most part means "into" (but can mean many things in English) and is the structure used in that passage with the accusative case. The accusative case in conjunction with the εις proposition is forward-looking.
@ydnar0591 "That's Acts 2 - and the same order will be followed elsewhere." That's Acts 2: 36-41. " And I'll give you one: (1) Be pricked or cut to the heart (believe), (2) Repent ye, (3) Let be baptized every one of you, (4) remission of sins, (5) reception of the gift of the Holy Spirit." That's the order. The events of Acts 10 are NOT in specific order. I do not to exactly WHERE - at what POINT - the Spirit descended upon Cornelius, but it was after Peter had said only a few words.
@ydnar0591 "Bible says he SINNED, and NEEDED to REPENT of his sin. {I believe this, I did'nt know you did?}" Certainly I do. Your position is that he must BELIEVE in Jesus ALL OVER AGAIN, I guess. You would necessarily think he'd have to REPENT (according to your belief) ALL OVER AGAIN, too. I never said that. YOU also said that, according to my belief, you suppose I'd think he'd have to BE BAPTIZED all over again! I never said he had to do ANYTHING except REPENT of his WICKEDNESS and PRAY.
You said according to MY belief he would have to ....."start all over again"...If that were so then he would have to LOSE Salvation in order to start ALL OVER AGAIN......I NEVER BELIEVE THAT. Once you become a Child of God thru Jesus YOu are ALWAYS A child of GOD. There is NOTHING IN...... LIFE....OR......DEATH.... that can Change that! Roamns 8:38-39
Bible says he SINNED, and NEEDED to REPENT of his sin. {I believe this, I did'nt know you did?}
#4 & #5 are out place according to Acts 10:43-44!
Here it is Again!
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that....... "through his name".... "whosoever believeth in him".... "shall receive" ......."remission of sins."
44 While Peter yet "spake these words," the "Holy Ghost fell on all them"... "which heard the word"....Acts 10:43-44.
@ydnar0591 "It give you an order..Beieve {Be saved} and then be baptized. Jesus said to and it will always follow never lead." And I'll give you one: (1) Be pricked or cut to the heart (believe), (2) Repent ye, (3) Let be baptized every one of you, (4) remission of sins, (5) reception of the gift of the Holy Spirit. That's Acts 2 - and the same order will be followed elsewhere. The order doesn't change, and it's very plain in that passage.

And if they meant the "because of" version of English "for" they would've used the word γαρ which looks backward.
