@InChristJesusOnly Yes, I have Dr. Brown's book and it is a great book. It's a model, but the best model that explains more anomalies than any other model, including plate tectonics.
Unfortunately I am not so sure with some of these.
Just in case, Supportisrael, you are clearly lacking in the basic concepts for the theory of evolution, geology, palaeontology and many other science areas.
I don't think you really looked at the fossils. They are layered like this: In the bottom layer of rock are shell fossils, above that is a layer with shells and fish fossils, above that is a layer with shells, fish and amphibians fossils, above that is a layer with shells, fish, amphibian and reptile fossils, above that is a layer with shells, fish, amphibian, reptile fossils and dinosaur fossils. No human or bunny fossils are found in any of these layers. No dating method used
This is not a Christian nation... At all. Or at least, as said by the President, not JUST. Also your argument is rather infantile, repeating scare tactics and that Jesus died for everyone, so you'd better believe in it or you'll burn in Hell. Don't you even realize that the concept of Hell wasn't even created until the Dark Ages? Many many many many many many many years after the death of said saviour. Check your facts and have a real argument next time. Peace be with you, my son.
When Jesus walked the earth, did he ONCE speak on the topic of creationism? Did he ONCE make it a priority to convince people of how the world came to be? Read Matthew 25 for what WAS a priority to him. By WASTING your time and talent trying to deny evolution, you are disobeying what Christ has called each of us to do.
Genesis 1: every creation story assumes a divine creation. So that's not why genesis 1 was recorded. The point isn't the process, it's what it meant. Notice what gets repeated throughout the chapter: "And God saw that it was good." That's a revolutionary idea in the ancient Near East: that all the universe is fundamentally good, or was initially so. Focus on the message, not the details. By arguing creationism, you're focused on the letter - like a Pharisee - and missing the spirit.
