One boy (Scott Lee) sets out on a chaotic journey of self discovery through metaphor and abstraction, ever weary of the approach of death.
Filmed in the most pretentious way possible: improvisation followed by ad hoc symbolic justification during editing, "The Darkness" is a parodied hyperbole of artsiness.
