If I find one in the place, even in the store or restaurant, I'll try to show ALL of the speeds since it is RARE!

Awesome fan! BTW, is it just me or is that motor bigger?
-
this thing goes really fast for 60" fan.

Did you put it on reverse to slow it down quickly? Is that OK to do?
captain150 1 year ago
@captain150 It's not something I do very often, but at the risk of bending the brackets to stop it I decided to use the motor. You'd have to feel how heavy those blades were to understand. It doesn't hurt anything, but the reverse switch isn't designed to switch under load and if done often will wear the contacts out from arcing.

where did this fan come from?
TheCrushBones 2 years ago
@TheCrushBones I assume you mean, where did I get it from? The blades came from Adrian in Florida, the motor I already had. 1986 1.1amp motor. There was no difference in motor size between the 52" 56" and 60" fans.

I'll bet that thing moves a hell of a lot of air. The only downside of having a fan that big is that the extra weight will slow the fan down.

@BlueStreak440 true, the blade pitch was still 15 degrees, so that slows it down a lot too.
