Fonte Dei Marmi were recently lucky enough to head off to Germany, and to get there we took the 0715hrs Air Berlin flight aboard an Airbus A320 from Stansted to Dussledorf. This video is the take off phase from push back to just above the fairly-low cloud base. The flight was less than 50% occupied so there was quite a bit of space around which made the 50 minute journey a little more enjoyable. Note when we are stacking up ready to turn onto the runway, the planes in front and the Ryanair coming into land. Videoing from an aeroplane window is not the most comfortable exercise in the world, so some of the shots are taken from a rather jaunty angle, but we are sure it will not cause too much distraction. We hope you enjoy it. Comments welcomed. Watch out for the video of coming into land at Dussledorf too.

Not really Stexxie, only a couple of times a year at most and really only around Europe. Perhaps there will be another flight this year but more likely it will be the spring of 2010 - whenever it happens, and wherever the destination, we will be armed with the video camera in an effort to get some more spectacular views that Mother Nature has to offer from the air - we hope you enjoy the result of that/those movies whenever they come. Many thanks for your comments.

Thank you for your amazing video! I love to fly but i only take planes for toursm, next time i'll film the takeoff too. Do you fly often for job reasons? If so you're soo lucky :)

Hi Stexxie, so glad you liked that part in particular. I agree it is a fantastic sight ... lucky it was low and thick cloud that day. Next time we are in the air, we'll try to get a bit more of this sort of thing as I am sure that others appreciate it too.
