JBL EON 500 series sub 18" vid 3

Finally get to hear the sub. Song is Boom Boom Pow by Black Eyed Peas (DJ mix). The bass sounds really good in person. The camera distorted the bass sound a bit. Can't beat the simplicity of having powered speakers and how much faster your setup can actually be.

@Mrdogdigger I picked that song because it has a variety of low db. Sometimes it does hit.. this vid is the show its capabilities. Thanks for watching

@DJCD01 But I recommend you do get an EQ. It can make the whole PA system sound so much better if the sound is EQ'ed and get all bass notes and frequencies even. With an EQ, almost all frequencies will be even so you wont get notes that are quieter than the rest or louder than the rest. I have 2x 18" EV subwoofers and having an EQ makes everything a hole lot better! Nice vid though!

@Mrdogdigger ... Its a mix cd which jumps around on low bass hits is why I chose it. Its not the subs fault.. just the way the song is mixed or else it would hit evenly. I chose it because it shows the range of the subwoofer. I have another vid with "Party in the USA" .. check that vid out and see how it sounds.

@Mrdogdigger Also Camera is distorting the sound too.. sounds alot cleaner. You have to think the camera mic on the camera is smaller than a penny. So the lowest db is going to distort on the camera. Thats what I said at the beginning of the video.

@DJCD01 I know from experience that camera mics are crap. With my future vids, I will use a rode NT-2 recording mic.
