What key questions will be discussed at the upcoming G8 summit? Is there a global solution for reducing oil prices? And will the United States be receptive to calls to reduce greenhouse gas emissions? Center for American Progress Senior Fellow Dan Weiss answers these questions in the latest installment of CAP's ASK THE EXPERT series.
america loves oil. demand will always greatly dwarf supply. increasing supply is toothless. alternative energy options is the only real solution. teh govt. must spearhead this with added taxes on oil companies who are making dough like nobody's business.

Collapse of the US Dollar .. Foreign Govt's and foreign investor's are buying OIL with the U.S. Dollars in there holdings. They know that the economy of the United States is about to collapse and they want to get rid of the dollars they have before they are worthless.

I do agree with much of what is said in this video, however I think more emphasis must be placed on development and implementation of energy alternatives.
The climate is perfect for such endeavors.
Cheers!
