Canned Heat's Fried Hockey Boogie. Canned Heat is a blues-rock/boogie band that formed in Los Angeles in 1965. The group has been noted for its own interpretations of blues material as well as for efforts to promote the interest in this type of music and its original artists

‘Oh Boy – This was the first album that I ever bought (at age 14t)! ‘Boogie with Canned Heat’ Music albums were SO Expensive in those days that kids had to be very discerning in what music they bought!! It was obvious to discerning music kids that Canned Heat continued the great Blues tradition:
