Been having cramps lately... trying to figure out why. Suggestions?

Had surgery Jan of '08, not '07.

  • Hey, great video. :) I've got several points: 1) Yes, it probably is correlated with your g/fs body, 2) I noticed that I can feel when I would be going to start my period when I'm at 50mg and I feel nothing when I'm at 60mg. 3) It might be related somewhat to the T that's leaking back out when you inject. Depending on your dose you can inject in your upper arm too. Move to your bum! :) See if that helps. Then go get blood work done. Good luck!

  • thank you for the response. it was awesome and helpful. i am away for a summer job and it's been 2 weeks away from teh gf and NO cramps. i'lll keep you guys updated.

  • You're so handsome! You remind me of Tony DiNozzo (NCIS) :D I hope you're feeling better, there isn't really anything I can do for you :(

  • like the person below me I am curious to know how it's all going and if you ever got to the bottom of it. I can really only theorize right now, because I'm not on T. My endo has me on Depo Provera- I have been on it for exactly 2 weeks now. He likes to shut down the ovaries and consequently estrogen production before starting patients on T because Depo basically causes your lining and such to atrophy. My guess would be maybe the T was causing atrophy of your tissues and causing some pain?

  • Hey there, I haven't started T yet and this is exactly why. I'm not interested in a hysterectomy and I don't want to get cancer of the uterus. I'm curious how your cramps are feeling now and what the doctor has said about the issue of T and reproductive organs. Thanks!

  • You sound like you have a bit of injection site rejection going on with your T shots. This is really problematic with injectables and fairly common.

You can try moving up higher or lower down on the muscle by an inch or two, or start injecting into the glutes.

I've had problems with cramping and upset the entire time I've been on T and I have ovarian cysts. T is known to cause cystic tissue development; you may want to get a pelvic ultrasound done. This is a concern for every transguy.

  • Hey what's up I'm new to youtube haven't posted anything yet but I actually do have videos pending...u crack me up lol I think ur funny and cool my name is Angel Richardson add me on facebook if you have one...hope to hear from you soon...

  • I know it is a pain but you do need to be checked by an OB/GYN. All that stuff is still in there! You may (and I say MAY) need to do a cycle to let the endometrial tissues shed. The Dr. can explain.

BTW, how has it been with your students. I want to know more than just the Trans parts of your new life.

  • to nick rezz: lol

you start feeling better when the old lady isn't around. that's such a guy response ;-)

  • Let us know when you work out whats going on alright? Goodluck with it all.
