HANDS PAKISTAN VISIT TO ACHARRO THAR UNDERLEADERSHIP OF DR.SHIEKH TANVEER AHMED

Dr Sheikh Tanveer Ahmed is one among the leading personalities of NGO sector in Pakistan. By profession he is Public Health specialist. He has worked for different organizations; national and international on key positions. Dr. Sheikh has been awarded Fellowship by Public Health Institute Santa Cruze California USA in Family Planning Leadership in 2005. Dr. Sheikh has done Bachelor of Medicine (M.B.B.S) from Dow Medical College of Karachi University Pakistan He has done his Master's in Public Health (MPH) from University of Karachi. He started his professional career in August 1992 from Department of Pediatrics DOW Medical College & Civil Hospital Karachi as a trainer of health related trainings. He is well known Master trainer of leadership, NGO Management and NLP trainings. Currently, Dr. Sheikh is working as a Chief Executive HANDS. He has conducted hundreds of trainings on the subject. Dr. Tanveer is the member of several national and international forums working on worldwide development.
Being a Public health consultant he conducted many researches and developed plans to implement for community empowerment. Dr. Tanveer played key role in development of hundreds of training manuals for community, NGOs, health and education workers/professionals. He is the author of several books on the subject.
