Living Proofe - "Rise" Music Video

Living Proofe's "Rise" is the second of three music videos that I filmed before I relocated from Pittsburgh to the Atlanta area. Originally we had a more conceptual approach to the video but due to time constraints caused by my pending relocation, we opted to go with something less involved. We filmed the video in Wilkinsburg in an abandoned lot and up the street on the next block. It was kinda chilly that day as well (no big surprise, it is Pittsburgh). It was edited in Final Cut Pro 5 and finished in After Effects CS3. This video is a little different from the others in that the "look" for the video is a little more stylized.

I was impressed with Living Proofe from the very first track I heard of his and was looking forward to working with him. About 4 months ago he released a freestyle track "Wake Up World" from his mixtape and I loved it so much that I put together a really quick (filmed, edited and rendered the same night) video to help keep the buzz going. (see - vimeo.com/3331141 ) We created that video with the plan of doing something a little less "quick and dirty" in the near future. This is the result.

P.S. Congratulations to Living Proofe on the birth of his newborn son. He was born last night and tonight Im posting this new video in celebration!
