Not sure what you mean? This idea is a mix of African ingenuity and western ideas - a good combination. But the idea needs help spreading.

What's the indentation in the wall for? Looks like that wall could fall down if the dirt gets too wet.

Do you know if companion planting works better here than in other methods? Do you just trow old plants into the center basket when you recycle plant material between seasons?

This is very clever. Planting in straight lines always seemed ugly and inneficient to me. Growing in cirlces is more in line with nature. And watering the compost heap acts as a natural fertilizer.
