it has always mystified me that a staple of brit pro was that wrestlers began their careers as early as 16 yo and were routinely manhandled or worked in a way, which i suspect would not have appealed to american audience. on the other hand, it always seemed to me that promotions in the souther us routinely featured boyish (robert fuller jr) being "taken out behind the shed' by a veteran heel for a proper whipping.

Great match with THIS Greg Valentine (the other one is a fine wrestler, but not much to look at)! The size discrepancy keeps Valentine from getting the upper hand but briefly (especially in part 2), though he does a fantastic job of taking McDonald's punishment. And comes through as the underdog hero at the finish! Very flattering trunks in this match, paired with excellent white boots and a great body to fill it all out.
