- This is the second half of a lesson that used to be a premium lesson, but is now free. This half of the lesson addresses some finer points of playing a lick like muting, timing, accenting etc...
You can watch the whole thing here: http://www.steviesnacks.com/free-lessons/fast-srv-lick.html

I've been searching for an in depth explanation of the downward rake-into-a-bend or into a note for a looooooong time. I've been checking out guitar instruction vids on youtube for years now. not only are you a badass on guitar, you are a brilliant instructor. your empathy skills are high cuz you know what the student needs to have explained and at what level of detail. you are truly a teaching master, my friend. thank you : )

@texbls Listen to the recording "Texas Flood" "Tin Pan Alley" and anything of that slow blues nature that Vaughan played will be a good reference. Many of those notes are 64th notes or odd tuplets. If you really want to see the rhythm breakdown, the sheet music is available. Otherwise recordings are your best bet.

You have most interesting blues lessons on youtube, great stuff and everything is clearly explained but I think that rhytm and timing is most important not notes, licks and I can play this kind of licks but how can I make them work soling over backing track how to keep rhytm, stay in time playing those kind of crazy lick. how to swing. I would love to hear
