non-crafters say they would buy your stuff and then don't. Crafters just think "oh, i could make that myself!"
I sold some things at a fair for a few years. having overstock isn't so bad. knitting doesn't go stale. It's always good to have a headstart for the next time you sell things. a piece of advice: knit at the booth. when i sold my stuff i crocheted and people walking by would stop to watch me crochet and then look at what i was selling. :)
yeah i'm a little nervous to start selling, but alot of ppl have also told me I should sell my stuff. I like that etsy isn't a huge money investment to get it started.
I like the banner. I need to put up a new one on my etsy, since it is too plain jane.
Kayla - yes. don't all non-crafters say that, then most turn around and say that crafted items are too expensive?
Oh well, it is a fun hobby to have. I've been knitting some small items too for a local craft fair. I'm not sure how much to make though. I don't want to go overboard and have too much product left!
hahah nicee
