In lieu of their 30th birthdays, college friends, Brian Calaustro and John Gonzales have decided to run a 26.2 mile marathon in the high desert range of White Sands Missle Range, New Mexico, honoring the service members who defended the Philippine Islands during World War II.
Today, John is doing an 8 mile training run.
