Patty Lovera, assistant director at the nonprofit Food and Water Watch:

"The official mantra from a lot of folks in government is, 'Oh, it's OK in low levels.'"

"But low levels add up. We would like to see a more coherent strategy for monitoring air and water in agricultural areas and then using that data to come up with a plan, if you need one, to go look at the food system."

IMPORTANT WATER FILTER INFO

Carbon type water filters WILL remove radioactive Iodine-131 from drinking water. I've confirmed this on multiple water filter sites and articles. Also, I read on one site that ion exchange media MAY reduce Cesium and other radioactive isotopes.

If your carbon type water filter is also advertised as being able to remove lead, then chances are it has ion exchange media mixed with the carbon. Pur and Brita faucet & pitcher filters are carbon/ion exchange blends.

@PUFFTHEMAGICMARMOT Well if your point is, "if someone listens to a video giving them bad advice, they refuse to investigate well, end up getting hurt, and that makes them a moron", I would have to agree. Every source is going to have something different to say on the same subject according to their own; interpretations, bias, belief system, and so on. The job of the individual who is seeking truth is to find logical patterns within a vast array of information and separate fact from fallacy.

You would have been crushed financially if you followed this very bad advice, and those who bought at those low levels would be the ones who you'd have payed, ie GS, and BP CEO.
