Jerry Jones, a 27-year-old patrolman with the Charleston Police Department in Charleston, W.Va., was killed in a "friendly fire" incident early Sunday morning, Sept. 13, 2009, after pursuit of a pick-up truck that attracted other officers to the scene. The man in the truck was also killed. Jones' funeral on Wednesday, Sept. 16, 2009 at Charleston's Municipal Auditorium, attracted hundreds of officers from across the state and region to bid him farewell as seen in this three-minute SoundSlides, produced by the Charleston Gazette in Charleston, W.Va.
