DISCLAIMER: I do not own the song "Nymphetamine". It is owned by Cradle of Filth and their label.

Lyrics:
Lead to the river
Midsummer, I waved
A "V" of black swans
On with hope to the grave
And though Red September
With skies fire-paved
I begged you appear
Like a thorn for the holy ones

Cold was my soul
Untold was the pain
I faced when you left me
A rose in the rain....
So I swore to the razor
That never, enchained
Would your dark nails of faith
Be pushed through my veins again

Bared on your tomb
I'm a prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon
Come above unto me?
For once upon a time
From the binds of your holiness
I could always find
The right slot for your sacred key...

Six feet deep is the incision
In my heart, that barless prison
Discoulours all with tunnel vision
Sunsetter...
Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condition
This lust, this vampyric addiction
To Her alone in full submission
None better

Nymphetamine
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine
Nymphetamine girl.
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine
My Nymphetamine girl.

Wracked with your charm
I'm circled like prey
Back in the forest
Were whispers persuade
More sugar trails
More white lady laid
Than pillars of salt...
(Keeping Sodom at at bay)

Fold to my arms
Hold their mesmeric away
And dance out to the moon
As we did in those golden days

Christening stars
I remember the way
We were needle and spoon
Mislaid in the burning hay

Bared on your tomb
I'm a prayer for your loneliness
And would you ever soon
Come above unto me?
For once upon a time
From the bind of your holiness
I could always find the right slot for your sacred key

Six feet deep is the incision
In my heart, that barless prison
Discoulours all with tunnel vision
Sunsetter...
Nymphetamine
Sick and weak from my condition
This lust, this vampyric addiction
To Her alone in full submission
None better...
Nymphetamine
Sunsetter
Nymphetemine
Nympheta, nymphetamine

Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine...
Nymphetamine girl
Nymphetamine, Nymphetamine...
My Nymphetamine girl

  • How is this the fix, is this Rosie Smith or the one from the music video?

  • @xxDanielTM93xx The music video. Which is the fix.

  • my girlfriend showed me this song :) i love it

  • @mydarkenheart Marry that girl.

  • Well, whoever posted these lyrics online is very uneducated. It is clear not many people care about lyrics. Even though its the most important part of Cradle of Filth's music. In any event, even though this was Cradle of Filth's low point, the lyrics are still much better than what you hear out of those radio posers or those who just plain can't write good lyrics. I am glad they improved their lyrics prowess once more though. Welcome back Cradle!

  • @TheKuroiSheep I don't remember the site. I actually don't listen to the song all that much. If you can get me a link to a trusted lyric sheet/site, that would be very thankful.

I am not going to correct it by ear, though.

  • @xXMyChemFreakXx Agreed. Cradle has definitely evolved into a power house. Just because people rant "old Cradle is best Cradle" doesn't make it true. Dani's voice is more refined and they're instrumentals are more melodic and beautiful. They've improved a lot. People just hate change. :/ I have never disliked a Cradle of Filth album and I don't think I ever will.

  • @TheKuroiSheep Dude, what the hell are you talking about? I surely don't know any scene kids who listen to Cradle. Probably because it's actually good music. And I really don't think CoF has had a low point. They've evolved a lot through the years. Bands that linger for a long time tend to do that :)

  • so powerful , the lyrics just break your heart every time you hear them... / m\

  • @MrMidnightOil: ... yeah. You too.

  • @TheKuroiSheep

Not sure how liking the song makes me a wannabe, but ok. Have a good one dude.

  • @MrMidnightOil: And all I'm saying is that there are a lot of wannabes in the world. (:

  • @Virindi696: Nope. Sick and tired of posers and wannabes much. You kids need a hobby.

  • @TheKuroiSheep

All I was sayin was that I like the song. I think maybe ur reading a little too much in to what I said..sheesh...
