Gah I hate how they do all these gaudy visualization effects in China. Can't we just have a regular concert hall that doesn't distract the performer and the listeners from enjoying the beautiful music?

Actually, China could really use a nice concert hall with western acoustics but built in traditional Chinese architectural style.

Gong Yi is still one of my favorites. Those good old day when different Guqin players raised up in the late 50s from their platform - before the cultural revolution. Gong Yi, Li Xiang Ting, Wu Ziying, Wu Wen Kuang.....all those young players are now so mature in their techniques. Time really flies! Sigh......
