Does anyone realize that Chicago teachers work shorter years, 5 hour 45 minute days, and after a few years of teaching are making $100,000 a year? This makes quality time for learning and funding impossible. As a senator, Obama had the chance to make serious changes to this system. Instead, he persuades the union to fund and endorse them in his campaign for presidency and then repayed them back later in 2008. Then he walked away with nothing being "changed."
may I remind everyone that Clinton was instrumental in pushing for the repeal of Glass-Stegall. Anyone know what that was??? It is the very law that put strict limits on speculation with peoples deposits. In reality the classes of banking were strictly separated to prevent this at all!!! But no!!! Clinton just had to screw with things. To make things worse Bush never reinstated this law and instead ran up an unbelievable deficit and whopping debt. Now the Chinese own us.
LOL, you obviously didn't notice the "lol" after the "bring on armagedon" comment. I was making the point that I have a better chance at surviving armagedon than I do an Obama or McCain administration. It's a figure of speech.
