SNES Classic: Magical Quest Starring Mickey Mouse

Please read the warning at the beginning and end. Failure to do so will ruin it for others.

Capcom used to do a lot of really good SNES Disney games. They did games for disney before Virgin Interactive took over, and WAY before Squaresoft/Square-Enix Paired up with Disney to bring Kingdom Hearts.

I'm not showing off anything special. This is not a speedrun by any means. It's a combination of a test to record on ZSNES with my screen recorder and sound recorder, as well as something fun to show those people who missed the SNES days, or nostalgia for people who didn't.

Don't expect any more of these, or at least any with sound. The screen recorder acted perfectly, but the sound recorder failed miserably. Until I can get sound to record on Debut's screen recorder (it used to, I don't know what the hell I did for it to just stop recording sound all of a sudden), I won't be doing too many more of these, or any at all.

It's weird. My sound recorder works best on Mugen, but the screen recorder takesa bad framerate hit, yet on the ZSNES, it works just fine, almost flawlessly, but the sound recorder constantly falls behind what is happening in the video.

And yes, I have this game on SNES as well, so don't pester me about that either, please. Just have fun watching the video.

this game I think was made by the same people who made Aladdin on snes, because not only is the game design and animation almost identical but the music uses the same instruments !!! :)

Capcom. They used to make all the Disney licensed games back in the NES and SNES days... that is... until Virgin Interactive took over, starting with the Lion King I think.

It's from Kirby Super Star. The track is called "Kirby Attacks!"

I loved this game man as a child... I remember playing this when I was only 6. The music makes me cry.

I was totally enamoured with this game as a kid. It had pretty innovative gameplay for its time, not to mention great environments and epic bosses. It was challenging but still had an innocence about it. Pretty rare these days.
