  • The ads plastered on this video. TOP 1000 RUSIIAN LADIES with Fb effect mirrored on the right of the web page, out of frame but conspicuous. Appears again at the bottom of the pallet at the end of the video. Seems you've been promoted on the field from travel agent to digital pimp.

    The shot of the ambulance in the rearview mirror is of Spielbergian quality.

  • @CaptainCaptcha Go to Management and say:'Listen carefully, folks. My subscribers are weary of the stuff you serve them up; they're sophisticated people, y'know? Why not redirecting some of those Gucci-Armani-Prada-Swarowsky-F­errari-Taittinger-Dom Perignon-Sotheby's ads of yours to my channel? Are we understood?' That should suffice.

  • @ipfeldspar Loyalty is a one-way relationship when it comes to retail. Through the years, we learned to make us smarter but, as soon as we get exposed to a new environment such as the Internet, we started acting like five years old children, letting others steal our candies. All this shows how naive at heart we are all. How about a rapid survey among your subscribers about the ads displayed at the bottom of your videos when they're logged in? Better: let's hold the bull by the horns.

  • "Advertising hallucinations?" I'm going to use that expression! You are right about the targeted concept . I have made it a personal quest to muddy any data mining possible. I especially like to mess with store "loyalty" cards......

  • @CaptainCaptcha I can easily continue to spy and tell you from this side of the (you) tube what is shown - but there's this worm in my head, indeed, that cricket on the wall, which are talking about targeted advertising: targeted on individuals rather than on categories, social segments, age groups and co.

    In short, thanks to Google and others pious knights of registration at no cost, in the near future the consumer may experience advertising allucinations.

  • @ipfeldspar All my own work despite being used this same month by two or three tweetterers but, since English is not my mother tongue, l appeal to the ethnological concept of parallel evolution and to the 5th Amendement . This habit of begging banal infos about the single user's tastes & preferences & trends, an obsession rather widespread and not quite typical of Google alone, should alert us all about the consequences that all this will have on surfing the Net.
