Top Thrill Dragster Xtremecoasters Cedar Point TTD Rollback

Xtremecoasters proudly presents Top Thrill Dragster from our 2004 season. This video was contributed by the talented team CoasterJunkie and Twinturbvr4 who contributed a lot of vidoes to our 2004 season. Top Thrill Dragster opened as the tallest and fasters rollercoaster in the world in 2003, standing 420ft tall and reaching a top speed of 127mph (its only supposed to reach 120mph, but reguarly over launches to prevent rollbacks). It was surpassed in 2005 by Kingda Ka (you can download videos of Kingda Ka from our 2005 season on our website), but many still regard Dragster as the more superior of the two coasters due to Dragster having a smoother launch and only a lap bar to hold you in place. what happend to the big wheels at the end of the train?

@beatletrainfan129 Rumour has it that one of the tyres became detatched from the back of the car and bounced down the queue line during a test run (prior to the park openeing) so it was decided that they should all be removed. I personally think it was more the case that they get higher ridership with seats in the back car (which are now in place of the wheels).

Its the greatest buzz in the world. Nothing can compete with this ride, not even Kingda Ka. Awesome vid by the way. You really did the ride justice, and loved the suprise rollback at the end !! i like ttd better than kingda ka no lap bars and anyways cedar point is way better than six flags and yes i have been on ttd and kingda ka and they are both more fun at night in the front with your hands up the whole time yeah thats how i rolls
