  • are you implying that bob schumann is a mutt > lol great work as always,,, these vids always make me want to turn of my computer - go outside and paint --

  • not a mutt.

in germany we say: a dog is mans best friends. Schumann is in my eyes (ears) a very "homely" composer". espacially his "childhood" compositions are very intimate, so clear and nice and innocent.

so: in my schumann-interpretation he first is a lovely family-dog. i want to visualise more than just his portrait. ... phhh, i talk too much ;-)

  • great ! :D

btw, how did you manage to make the background move ? :o

  • thnx.

i have used two layers in AfterEffects:

one for the sky-BG (photoshop image) that is moved and scaled.

The other is the figure. It is painted on an orange ground. After finishing the paint-process I removed the orange in AE.

  • The dog hahahaaha

  • i am doing a 12page paper about him in music appreciation class :]

i only have 2 pages done so far :/

btw my favorite piece by him is Im wunderschonen Monat Mai

  • @ 0.56 mins...did anyone hear....bow bow :P

  • I'm sure the Robert Schumann would be proud of this! I'm part of the Schumann family, and this surely makes me proud. :)

  • "Reverie" is played too fast. Not sure if R.Schumann was blond/brunette, some portraits depict him with 1, others with other colour

  • Why would anyone do a "romantic speedpaint"...? Thats ridicolous...

  • @keepARTalive

Why? You can do this stuff on your PC. :p

  • Que lindo!!! me encantó

  • Amazing !

Thank you so much ! ^^
