This is the knife designed by Mike Stewart as a bushcraft knife which specilizes in forest and survival duties. It carries a lifetime warranty and is made of quality A2 steel which takes and holds a very sharp edge.

  • I own a couple of Bark Rivers and I like them, and I agree with you about the A-2 steel, but at the same time, I also feel that a knife made of A-2 is just too high maintenance for water. It rusts very quickly and for such a high priced knife, they should at the very least give a kydex sheath that does not hold the moisture and alllows you to oil the knives and keep oil in the sheaths as opposed to leather. They should make it available in Stainless.

  • @faultroy Yes I still sell them but I have switched to a Katz Lion Cub (Lion King Series) for my own personal carry since much of my out door activity is related to paddling. I agree that A2 is a bit high maintenance. They are beautiful and well crafted but should be offered in stainless.

  • nice price too, £187.00 even at heinnie's, a lot of bread seein as a carbon companion will cost about £12.00 and do the job just as well, but if you can afford one why not,
