For me it works out like this. This song would play as any regular human would fight for his/her life, transitioning between someone with a shovel, gun, tank, nuke, or what ever... but all in slow motion. So many "takes" possible.

Aliens would be good, but they would be so much technologically superior, they would wipe us out in an instant. With Zombies, it would be a slow and painful extinction. As a film, I think this music would work best with zombies. My opinion only.
