A short documentary about a historic building in Todmorden, which is to be sacrificed on the altar of corporate profit. See the short-sighted decisions that have been made over the years by the local council and PCT and see the frustration of locals who understandably fear their voice has not and will not be heard. This video shows the Abraham Ormerod building in its historical context and is a damning indictment of the establishment and big business. Well worth watching. Feel free to comment.

It's a waste of a really nice building. The new health centre, with it's smooth glass and concrete surfaces lacks character whereas the Ormrod Centre was once a building rich in personality.
It's sad that the people in charge are too selfish to let the public do what they want with it.

@NerdWhale92 The song is called "Any Other Name" and it is by Thomas Newman.
It was featured in the film "American Beauty" and sampled in the tune "American Dream" by Jakatta in 2000.
