You are about the same age as my brother, In 68 he also got one of those letters from the draft board. But thank God the Draft lottery came out & he had a high number so he never had to go in. (Oh my mother kept praying & hoping he would not get in.) But I would never forget that & I was only 10 years old.

When I received my draft notice in 1968, I burned it and immediately went to England. There was no way that I was going to fight in Vietnam. I have never regretted my actions.
