This was probably the last jumping lesson for a long....long....LONG while.
You know its hot when even I start saying flatwork is a brilliant idea and having no arguements to going back to them.
Heat + humidity = killer which only we seem crazy enough to go out in and ride.. AND SURVIVE!! ;p
Anywho, shorter video..didnt even have to break it into two o.0
Yeah the heats that bad.
We have newly painted fences. :]
Im still getting used to actually putting weight into my left stirrup so when you see the fumble after the first line, thats what it was.
Again, new paint means the horses get too have their moments of WTH?
As you can see she started drifting to the left at the first jump the first time through the outside line.
The second time through was nice just a bit chipped on the last fence.
On the third time, went nicely through the first two but I let her get a bit strung out and we ended up hitting it as a result.
Ok so the other outside line, first time through the bottom plank was a bit much for her and her was like "let me see it up close, by stopping head down THEN jumping it.". Got her over without the stop, very happy. :]
the next two times we jumped it were messy. I am not used to long distances at all so getting the striding right is my hardest part right now. We either got one spot long or to chipped, either way knocked down the blue.(Those two I left out for time sake.)
Annd the last time we jumped it...really makes me realize just how powerful she is. just look how far away she is. Heh..
I know my mistakes and what i need to do to improve so no crits please :]
Julie is at the end riding Mr Buster. Theyve come so far! Congrats Julie on what yove done with him.
Finally got annoyed enough with pop..had to go back to rock for a bit ^-^
