Wow, we need people like Roy more than ever these days. Our culture has become so selfish, arrogant, & immodest. I long for the days when people respected each other, & acted with dignity & kindness. And there was accountability then. You were expected to behave in public, both in how you dressed & the language you used. You were taught to be a positive force in the world & to appreciate freedom & what it took to get there & stay there. Thank God a few of us still remember.

How does it feel in this day and age, knowing there really was a high profiled celebrity whom nobody had a bad thing to say about. Roy Rogers and Dale Evans..

It makes me glad I grew up when I did.. No bad words, disrespect to women, or, disparaging remarks about his colleagues, and, was a patriot..Imagine, in this day and age, a hero who looks as if he bathes daily..
