Here's a song I remember the Beatles doing. Then I heard Tommy Emmanual do it and I am attempting to do this song in his style, playing a bass line along with the melody. I think Tommy is about the best guitar player in the world - he makes everything look easy.

  • В этом изложении свинг звучит как джаз, шагающий бас .

    Хороший вариант

  • @vladimirem1950 Thank you for listening to my song. Nice comments. Jim

  • Great song Jim. Nice arrangement.

  • @carvetop01 Thanks a lot. I love the "Tommy" songs - wish I could play like him.

  • If I hadn't read what Harold wrote, my reaction

would have been just another Elvis sighting!

I, too, only thought of the TJB and cannot even

imagine this as a Beatles tune! But that was

then, and yours is a very nice job here and now!

I love your repertoire. It contains so many of

my All-Time Faves! Cheers to you, and Deb,

    in absentia, ~Terry

  • @BocaFriend ...Thank you so much for your comments. We appreciate you taking the time to listen/watch and provide the feedback. By the way, Harold has taken a couple of our Beatle tunes and used them as background accompaniment to sing a few of his songs - kind of fun how you meet and interact with people through YT.

  • I know I am not the first, but this great. I didnt know Beattles did this, I only remember Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass doing it. Love this sound though on the guitar. This is one of your better ones, not that the others were bad, but this is really great!!! Good job Jim!!!
