Notes and info for anybody with questions:
Shot with a Panasonic GH2 with 20mm pancake lens. 24p ETC mode.
The half inch glass was messing with the auto-focus a bit.
I plan to order a custom vinyl backdrop once I decide
what I want on it.

The tank cycled for 1 week fishless with ammonia and gravel from my 36g.
Then I put in some Tetra Safestart (2 bottles for 75g ea.)
and I have been keeping an eye on the levels. So far so good
for the past 4 days. I have a 36 gallon emergency tank just
in case the Tetra fails to do it's job.

The four big telescopes I got at an auction at goldfishconnection.com
Ken from Dandy Orandas does a fine job over there.

I plan to order 3 or 4 Watonai from Raingarden Goldfish once I am
sure the tank is stable.

Milo is new. I couldn't leave him to certain death at Petsmart. His wen
looks a tad crusty but may just be growing?
Thanks for watching!

  • i had a fish named Rocky bal bubbles once

  • @FPChris okay, thank you :D

  • @7CRonaldoLMessi10 I'm no expert but from what I could find it is genetics. The 'wen' will grow for sure and some have to even be trimmed. But tank size has nothing to do with it from the info I could find.

  • @FPChris yea the head is the same like the black-white-red, but if the tank is small would the head grow up or not?

  • @tithra33 not at all.

  • @FPChris I just sent you some unsolicited suggestions lol. Hope you don't mind : )

  • @tithra33 Gotcha. No I still have the 36g up and running as an emergency tank. Which is kinda why I didn't want to mess with it. I still have more fish to buy and I wanted to use it as a quarantine tank as well. I have 3 apple snails in it for now but I may end up putting the 3 little telescopes back in it if I want more room in the 150 for larger fish. But so far they are getting their fair share of the food.

  • @FPChris eek. that sucks. If your other filter was cycled you could have transferred that media into the new filter or ran the old filter on the new tank to get it cycled faster when you moved the fish over. Unfortunately the gravel just doesn't hold that many BB's, it can help, but it's not ideal. Filter media is where its all at : ) Did you throw away the cycled filter media?
