The song Blue by LaTour is probably better known from the bathroom club scene in Basic Instinct.
In case you're wondering, the first song in that club scene is called "Rave, The Rhythm" by Channel X.
A friend of mine tracked this down eventually after the movie came out.
Does anyone know what type of techno/electronica this would be considered?

now why cant i find a basic instinct soundtrack composed of the various artist songs? this song is sexy, i remember it from the nightclub scene, and i am gonna make love to my girl with this song.

One of those singular tunes that never gets old.
Despite all the other tunes on this album being great in and of themselves, this one maintains it's freshness. Sonic-smoothness.
