Every Friday before the second Saturday of each month, Sarah College's Buddhist Philosophy class invites two students from the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics to come down and participate in a debate. The Sarah students will eventually move up to McLeod Ganj to finish their course, which takes many years.
Here is one such debate. It's entertaining even if you don't understand any Tibetan. It's incredibly active and a major aspect of Tibetan Buddhism.

@kamwrites Its actually very common, normally ever debate session has a period like this to take roll. Also this type of debate although more formal is common place at the Sera, Drepung and Ganden. Its has been so since back in tibet.

Most videos I've seen show one-on-one debates...seems a bit unfair for several monks to be questioning at one time like that! ;) metta
