Every Friday before the second Saturday of each month, Sarah College's Buddhist Philosophy class invites two students from the Institute of Buddhist Dialectics to come down and participate in a debate. The Sarah students will eventually move up to McLeod Ganj to finish their course, which takes many years.

Here is one such debate. It's entertaining even if you don't understand any Tibetan. It's incredibly active and a major aspect of Tibetan Buddhism.

  • Most videos I've seen show one-on-one debates...seems a bit unfair for several monks to be questioning at one time like that! ;) metta
