The Edwin Taylor Memorial 5K Run and Fitness Walk is annually held, originating in 2004, to raise community awareness of the importance of music programs and pride of good health and community. Edwin Taylor was an outstanding, dedicated leader, and a hero in the community. Mr. Taylor volunteered with the Biglerville High School Band and Upper Adams Jaycees, as well as provided support in the development of Oakside Community Park and many other high profile community projects for nearly thirty years.
