How to: Fix Error 3194 AND 1013 iPhone 3G/3GS/4 WINDOWS

Disclaimer:
Follow this guide at your own risk, I will not be held responsible for any damage to your iPhone whatsoever although I highly doubt anything will go wrong as I have done this numerous times.

In this video, I will teach you how to fix error 3194 for the iPhone 3G/3GS and error 1013 for the iPhone 4.

You DO NOT need to download any software to fix this, just change the host files and disable antivirus temporarily until your iPhone updates. Watch the video to find out.

I still can't restore my ipod. I wanted to update it to ios5 coz it's still in 3.1.3.. Did all your steps, even uninstalled my antivirus for assurance..but this Error 3194 still comes up. I really don't know what to do.. Please help! :(

@yambebe17 after you change the host files THEN exit itunes and reopen it and restore

Does this still work? I had the 3194 error on my iPhone 4. I had to restore it and download everything i had on it back again and it was a huge burden for me. I don't want it to happen again to me so someone please reply to my comment telling me if it works still and how to downgrade from iOS5 (5.0.1) to iOS4.3

@TheLSLProductions yeah it does...and here's a tip...downgrading is the same for all devices in a way..(use tinyumbrella etc but afterwards, you'll get error (-1)..just download redsn0w and use the "deactivate" function to fix that
