Nancy Pelosi addresses the House of Representatives in her opening speech of the 111th Congress, on January 6, 2009. In previous years she promised bipartisan rule and complained that President Bush used the specter of crises to suppress dissent. Now she promises not to tolerate 'partisan deadlock' because there are too many economic, environmental, and terrorist threats to allow dissent.
Hrrrmmm..... wonder why her approval rating is a whopping 11%. How she continually gets re-elected blows my mind.

Nancy "culture of corruption" Pelosi says, "We cannot afford to wait".
In other words, screw the Republicans. No debate.
So much for bipartisanship, eh?
