Ah you are forgeting one very important thing, *THE CHILDREN!* The kids of america are quite literally pimped by law makers to get bills passed that erode our rights. The trick is to get bleeding hearted but well meaning people behind something because they want to protect THE CHILDEN! And no elected official wants to be asked "Why do you hate children?" and will vote for something that is not good. I swear, CHILDREN will be the loose thread that unraveles the Constitution!
