This is a very underrated movie of this time. I like it very much, also the most of Robert Aldrichs Movies.

Ralph Meeker is dynamite in this role. Over the years I bought the VHS then DVD & again when it came out on blu-ray even though I hate a lot of the script and some of the cast members.
The editing of this scene bugs me; at 08:59 she is still screaming even after her legs are completely still as if she is dead, not even swaying, then they cut to the swaying ankles then back to dead still again. I think the guy to the left of screen (her right) in the brown shoes disappears/reappears too.
