This video shows an example of remote rendering and parallel pixel streaming of a scientific visualization from a remote destination using SAGE (Scalable Adaptive Graphics Environment). The 3-dimensional skeletal volume is being visualized using ParaView - an open-source, multi-platform application designed to visualize data sets. The visualization is being streamed from collaborating institution Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC) to EVLs LambdaVision tiled display.

SAGE also support multiple ParaView sessions. This video documents a session being streamed for local render nodes, while another is being streamed from TACCs visualization nodes. There is no perceivable difference in performance when running Paraview sessions in this configuration.

This research is being conducted by EVL PhD candidate Sungwon Nam and is supported in part by funding from the National Science Foundation Award #OCI-0943559.
