Now four weeks post-op gastric bypass and since receiving the "thumbs up" from my surgeon to begin exercising, I share a few cool pool exercises I created pre-op and post-op using a noodle and an empty rectangular water/milk jug with lid.

I also share 2 Isopure protein creations that taste de-licious and pack a full 20+ grams of protein... and a great alternative to the milk-based proteins.

I bare all and share a few photos of my wiggly parts and don my bathing suit in a video for a head to toe shot... Not easy to do, but I want to embrace my "now" reality to push me closer to the dream of a healthier "me" in the future.

Sending a big hug to all my subscribers. I'm so appreciative of your support!

Look for my 3-4 week post-op gastric bypass video (coming soon, I promise!) within the next few days where I will share my favorite protein drinks, foods I'm enjoying during the liquid and soft stages, an update on my post-op visit with the surgeon explaining how the 2nd surgical procedure went, and more!

And oh, can I tell you I am down 38 pounds since my initial consultation and down 15 pounds since surgery! Feels so good!

  • Thanks so much for the video. I haven't tried the isopure protein drinks. After seeing your suggestions I will give it a try fir something new. I also loved your water work out. We have a neighborhood pool and I tried to find some water exercises but wasn't very successful. Too bad our pool is closing right after labor day. Will have to make note of your video for next summer!

  • @mistyandchris1 Oh, you've got to try them! They are a little pricey at GNC, but they go on sale every once in awhile. I am a retired military dependent and they are available at the commissary. If you are eligible to shop there, they are half the cost! I stretch them with water and my added flavors. They're just a wonderful change up for getting protein in outside of the powdered protein drink options. I'm sad that our pool is closed now, too. Time to find an indoor one! Blessings to you both!

  • how did I miss this???

  • Oh, thank you so much for the ideas with the Isopure! You know how they tell you to never grocery shop when you are hungry? Well, I am feeling that now... never watch videos about ice cold drinks while thirsty! LOL! At least you reminded me to keep hydrated! I have been very busy (and that is why I am so far behind on my videos!) and I don't think I am drinking enough! I can't believe it has already been 4 weeks! Time is going by much faster then I thought it would! Congratulations! :)

  • @CandiisSweetEnough I'm giggling! You are so funny! You gotta try the Isopure, Candi. After surgery you will find any "water" based protein (vs. milk) a welcome addition to help get your protein in. Yup, stay hydrated!
