But you do realize don't you that the people of Alsace and Lorraine were not happy in the German Empire...that's why they protested the annexation in the French legislature in Bordeaux in 1871 ..and in the Reichstag in 1874...and kept electing men like Abbe Emile Wetterle to the Reichstag from Colmar who opposed the annexation...and the Savern Incident of Oct/Nov 1913...desertians of Alsation German troops to the French army in WW1, etc, etc.

Germany can't get it's land back...too late now!
