The scene where Morgan and Dan walk through the weave room into the office to talk about the job of driving was filmed at the old Dundee Mill #2 in East Griffin. The elevator scene was also filmed at the Dundee plant which is now closed. The man in overalls sweeping the floor was the plant manager and former county commissioner the late Frank Westmoreland.

The cemetery scenes were also filmed in Griffin. Oak Hill Cemetery on Taylor Street.
