@azakilla - Azar Habib (RIP) originally wrote and produced the 80's version of this song for Ameer Sagheer, not Melhem Barakat. I like both the 80's and late 90's version of this song!!!

part5, In the late 90s and early 2000, Al Amir Al Saghir attempted a come back. He underwent a heavy re-looking to appear fresh and yound again, and released a remake of his song (3a tabaa almaz). He also shot a music video for it , along with another song Hala Hala.

part4, Most of his songs marked an era and are part of the retro collections of many today, as they bring back old memories.
In 1992, Al Amir Al Saghir took part at the Midnight Sun Song Festival in Lahti, Finland (Keskiyön auringon laulufestivaali)). He sang in French ''Rappelles-toi, Mirou!'''' and "Chasse ton chagrin".

His most famous song is the hit Lebanese song Aa Tabbaa Almaz or Ala Taba Elmaz (which translates into: On a plate of diamonds). It was originally composed and sang by Melhem Barakat, before he made it his. Le Petit Prince also had hit songs like Kizabi, Shou Helwi Ya Jarenta, Merci Cheri, and many other songs composed by Elias el Rahbani.

No. I'm sorry: this song is not a first Lebanese Arab version (1980's), it was a third Lebanese Arab song's version of ''Ala Taba Elmaz'' of 1998. This singer has remake the third version (الأمير الصغير توزيع جديد ع طبق الماز ) of 1998. The first version was made and sang by Ameer Sagheer & Melhem Baraket. The 2nd was remade by Sammy Clark, the famous Lebanese singer while playing ''like an actor'', but voice is looks like the Al Sagheer's voice. In 1998, A. A. A. S. has remake this song. part 1
