This video shows the events leading up to the use of pepper spray by UC Davis police officers. This video shows in chronological order events leading up to the use of pepper spray. I created the video from about an hour of footage, and much of what I cut was when people were standing around and chanting. There were cameras everywhere, so I'm sure if you do a search you will be able to find video of the events from different angles. I encourage people to do their own research. Here is an interview given by one of the protesters who was pepper sprayed. http://youtu.be/U8yHfLDIeBs

  • @bekkers29 She didn't call them for the protestors. She called them to dismantle tents, which they did. They had already warned the students well in advance and at the scene. They only arrested those who got in their way. The cops were actually trying to leave peacefully, when the crowd decided to obstruct and threaten them, not the other way around.

Just because they didn't retaliate doesn't mean they were peaceful. Under Cali law, a threat is a threat, whether you mean it or not.

  • Excuse me, but are they chanting "fus ro dah" at 1:25?

  • @changeyournode I have, and what I see is a bunch of angry rowdy protestors surrounding the police. Take an even look at it. He warned ALL of them that they would get sprayed, and none of them went in without knowing the coming consequences for their actions.

  • @tumortim666 Open your eyes, and look at the video.

  • lol

  • @changeyournode what was actually wrong with what they did?

  • @goofypaul It's the illegal activity we care about, not the disrespectfulness. They were protesting without a permit (a very easy thing to get).

  • Now I've seen a lot of dumbass people in my time but... damn

  • @TheTishytish Then why did they spray those students? As you've just explained, they sprayed people who weren't trapping them.
