This is a video of the 1979 Pontiac Trans Am H.O. that me and my dad built. Very powerful car. It has not been dynoed yet or run on the drag strip. But it has done a few burnouts ;)

  • The Beast is the car equivalent of Wally because every other person uses that name for their dog. Not complaining, your car is definitely beastly, just sayin'.

  • @Kowalskiv8madness I don't know anyone that has ever named their dog Wally, just sayin'.

  • Do you plan on changing the badging from T A 6.6 to H.O. 455 or something, just curious. Great car!

  • @TriggerHappyLunatics Well, the car is actually being repainted now. But not sure what's going on the cowl yet.

  • @techguyreview high output

  • i'm sorry i meant what does T.I Mean?

  • Whats H.O mean?

  • Is there an ejecter seat with the red button? lol

  • I graduated high school in 1979, one rich kids dad bought him a brand new either 1978 or 1979 Trans Am. He took me for a ride in it the day he got it. The interior was all real leather and when he mashed the gas it felt like that leather seat just sucked me down into it. I don't know what motor was in it, but I do know it was by far the most powerful car I've ever ridden in. I had a very strong Mustang 5.0, factory rebuilt engine, headers, but it wasn't even close.

  • Nice project, are those IROC Z wheels? THey look different, I like that

  • @chriscamh3 I had so many of theese cars in the 90's. I bought 1 like yours dk ble with lt ble bird for parts. Sold everything! now I cant find em cheap! If I only wouldve known what the value was gonna be today! damm I miss having a t/a

  • @chriscamh3 1976 was the last year for the 455.

  • he turns it on at 4:08

  • Maybe you should have had the hood opened, the doors unlocked and the engine tuned to idle before shooting the video?
