  • This vid is a favorite on Bolivia

  • @yadaniels: @zDSpider is right, we get from 650-1000 pages per hour, even with having to physically pick up the device, reposition it, and press both buttons each time.

  • @nowzuzdiez actually they are Cannon Powershoot A590's with 2GB SD cards. We use only free software for the project so no Adobe here, just tesseract and our own public image crop and rotate software.

  • Actually processing it takes a lot more. Scanning only takes about 20 minutes per book depending on the number of pages.

  • Isn't there a way to flip the pages automatically? Scanning a book this way will cost a lot of time.

  • love it, your cameras look like Polaroid i1035, by the look of it and the power cables. I'm thinking your using 4g SD cards and adobe ?

  • Great concept, and much easier to build than other designs I've seen. There's one change I'd make to your design, I'd add a horizontal support across the center to minimize distortion when you lift to change pages.

  • wow, I like that idea

simple, yet effective, it'd be nice to have a single button so both cameras would go off, but other then that, it's a great design.
