I discovered yesterday that Volta developed the first battery two hundred years ago based upon the bio-logic of the torpedo fish - a fish (a ray) that is able to generate a fair whack of electricity. But life always takes a back seat.

Excellent short video presentation. To sum, your understanding of the phenomena of natural intelligence gives hope to the human experience within the wholeness of Metanoia's reality. Thank you, Simon.

Cheers - but bear in mind that many, if not most, people take issue with my interpretations of Nature : )

The biochemical processes of life are no coincidence by design. We've been told from an early age that life was created by an outside intelligence and then to college that natural selection was the motivating force. Simon, you drive home the point succintly that the natural intellect lies within the the process itself and not of the dogma of the science one may chose to understand the processes by. Psilocybe facilitates that understanding without egoic questioning.

Bravo Simon! Who has watch this beautiful video even once yet remain stuck in the idea of intelligence as uniquely - or even mainly - human. One tough concept that remains a barrier to emergence of the next paradigm shift is the notion of intelligence without intention - which you do discuss in your second book, Darwin's Unfinished Business. And of course, many do attribute intention to Nature - based on subjective experience - rather than objective - scientifically testable - evidence.
